Business classes schedule in Frederck County fall program
The Frederck County Board of Education lists fourteen fall adult education business courses. Options include typing shorthand keypunch bookkeeping and a new Grammar for Your Job. Most start the week of September 11 with some meetings on September 12 election day. Tuition is $20 for a standard ten week course, with per hour pricing noted and some shorthand and six session options at $12 or $30. For complete schedule call 662-9200 ext 232.

Hood College honored two librarians at a Joseph Hears Apple Library reception. Marion Rueth directed the library and has 12 years at Hood with degrees from Trinity College Catholic University and Florida State. Mira Beebe, circulation librarian for 19 years, earned degrees from Allegheny College Edinboro and the University of Maryland.

Frederick resident Mr W Doyle Watt of Sun City Amt was honored on his 80th birthday Saturday Sept 2 at his niece’s Frederick home. He visits his sister Mrs Howell C Happ er and the party doubled as a family reunion with entertainment begun for his two week Frederick stay. Attendees included Dr and Mrs Benjamin Warshowsky Jay Steven Abby and many Happ family members.
