Seventeen persons from Frederick county returned Friday around noon after completing the first annual Tri-State vacation and educational tour to Toronto Canada. County agent H R Shoemaker who joined the party plus other county agents said the trip was educational and very interesting for farmers. The Canadian Exhibition in Toronto and a visit to the Ontario Agricultural College at Guelph were standout features. The tour included 198 participants from Frederick Carroll and Washington counties. Others on the trip from Frederick included Misses Bessie Newman and Mary Newman Emmett Angleoerger Mrs Panic Reese Shoemaker and Ralph Smith.
