A Buy's Escape On Runaway Tomato Wagon
A Teormont team driven by Mr Grant Worster ran away after boxes fell from a wagon on Altamont avenue. Mr Webster, seated on the boxes at the rear, tried to stop the team as the wagon tipped and a boy aboard was dragged toward the wheel. The boy escaped serious harm, though his brother suffered a crushed foot and other injuries. The runaway ended near Foreman's alley after the team veered across Mato Street and Main. The incident left witnesses shocked by the miraculous escape.
