Beth Sholom Dedication Marks New West Second Street Synagogue
The Beth Sholom synagogue on West Second Street was dedicated Sunday with ceremonies led by Rabbis Menahem J. Frindman and Israel, Baltimore, and speakers including Rabbi Abram Ebmon, Washington, and Leo Weinberg. The event drew a large audience from Baltimore Washington and nearby towns, with memorials to Samuel and Regina Weinberg and a tribute to the founders. The assembly praised Judaism, the building’s use as a house of worship instruction and social life, and urged consecration to Israel and humanity.
