Abducted baby found unharmed in Maryland woods
The two week old Rebecca Bruchey was abducted from a Chevrolet Blazer on Highland School Road near Wolfsville. After hours of searching by deputies, volunteers, and state police, she was found alive along Fisher's Hollow Road. She was warmed by blankets and later released from Frederick Memorial Hospital. The investigation continues Friday morning.

Man nabbed after wild high speed chase near Walkersville
Frederick man Norman H Grady Smith 34 led police on a near half hour chase after noon driving while revoked and giving a false name. He was stopped downtown Frederick then pursued along Gas House Pike and back roads near Walkersville before tire marks ended the pursuit. Bail set at 5000 with hearing next Tuesday. He is held at Carroll County Detention Center.
