Farm price values show halt and regional shifts
Farm real estate prices have halted their five year rise with six month downturns noted by L W Duggan head of the Farm Credit Administration. He spoke at a district directors meeting and cited wheat belt and livestock regions as exceptions with regional price gains. He said overall farm cash income remains strong due to high exports and employment but warned declines could quickly affect prices. A stray anecdote about cotton on lambs appears before a brief note on Sgt. Kershner’s elbow injury from a train incident near Harrisburg.
