Court OKs Frederick County School Bond Issue
Associate Judge Arthur D. Willard ordered the Frederick County Commissioners to issue a $300,000 school bond for a county school building program including a new high school, ruling the legislature intended funding debt by bonds and that the project cost could be met with anticipated aid. The ruling addresses ambiguities in Section 6 of the act and clarifies that the cost is to be treated as an estimated total with future funding expectations.
