Bright skies and warm temperatures draw many motorists to vacation routes for Labor Day weekend. Banks and stores close Monday as Mountaindale hosts a large picnic with many political candidates seeking constituents.
The B and O Railroad ends train 26 from Brunswick to Washington on Mondays. Last Frederick to Washington mail closes at 5 15 p m on Mondays, instead of 7 20 p m, with a later collection at 4 30 p m catching the last Monday mail.
