Frederick police respond to a second armed robbery at a city business in three days. Shortly before 1 a.m. a stocky black man with a silver semiautomatic entered a 7-Eleven on Gitala Dana, demanded money, and fled on foot, possibly with a waiting vehicle. Police consider links to a Sunday Dollar Store robbery on East Patrick Street where two men and a clerk were involved, with no money found in the safe. Investigators describe two suspects, one heavyset in a red coat and another tall and black-clad, with no injuries reported. Authorities urge anyone with information to call 301-694-2100.
