Man Loses Rural Home At Sheriff Sale In Norristown
In Norristown a man living on a meager pension lost his rural home at a sheriff sale held at the county courthouse. Rose Farber bought the property for 10 000, saying the former owner Cadwallader Clegg could remain living there until his death. The deal, arranged through a real estate investment firm, leaves the property subject to judge’s confirmation and existing liens. Clegg, a widower with a small pension, has resisted moving, continuing to reside without utilities on the scattered land and amid his animals.
