Car flips on I-70 injures two during eastbound crash
A high speed maneuver on I-70 caused a Pontiac Grand Prix to strike two other vehicles and overturn. The crash closed the eastbound lane between South and East Patrick streets for over an hour, creating lengthy backups. Driver David Mauck and passenger Randy Walker were ejected. Mauck released after treatment, Walker remained in critical condition at Shock Trauma. Van driver Robert Dietz and Oldsmobile occupants were treated and released. Mauck cited for negligent crying.
