At the National Guard Association of the United States convention in Denver, Col. Milton A. Reckord of Maryland was elected president. Delegates from 163,000 guardsmen chose Reckord after considering other nominees. The report highlighted the Guard’s World War losses and the group’s role in national defense.
William T Page and Earl J Dickinson will speak in the afternoon at the Kensington Methodist church with Rex of Texas Jason Stewart of Rhode Island also on the program.
