Gore speech canceled after bomb found at Rocky Mountain High
A crude bomb was discovered under wooden gym bleachers at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins hours before Al Gore’s planned speech. Secret Service and military ordnance teams dismantled the device, with no threats or suspects named. Gore remarked he would have given a “dynamite” speech, while students described two taped cylinders with a clock and wires.
