FMH Auxiliary Sets New Fundraising Goal at Luncheon
The Frederick Memorial Hospital Auxiliary pledged 730000 dollars to the hospital over the next five years at the fall luncheon at Holly Hills Country Inn. President elect Harriet Dailey noted the group surpassed last year’s 750000 dollar goal toward emergency room expansion. Funds will support BirthPlace expansion. Select Seconds displayed three outfits from Designing Women and a Burt Reynolds sweater. Volunteers totaled 3820 hours. Proceeds from the shoe sale exceeded 2000 dollars. The Snow Ball and Holiday Bazaar are planned for late November and early December. The Tree of Lights ceremony will occur December 10 in the boxpetal lobby with a donation drive for mobile health van equipment.
