NRE police announce traffic controls on Market Street and side streets during the Halloween parade. Double parking is forbidden to keep streets clear for emergency access as officers in standardized uniforms and .38 caliber revolvers patrol intersections.
The hearing for Charles N Larue charged with traffic offenses was continued before Justice Bennett until 3 o clock this afternoon awaiting further witnesses. A New York bound motorist was cited for failing to yield and no license. Other charges against two city residents were dismissed in a minor collision matter. An October Halloween party and a local antique club gathering were noted with attendees listed.
