The Blaie Odd Fellows Home board met Wednesday with all directors present except one. Session ran from 11 to 12 for lunch then resumed 1 to 6. Next meeting scheduled for November 24. Thirty-six residents, twenty-four children and twelve adults, were noted.
The Wednesday intake shows twenty one children and eleven adults at the city home. All children attend local schools except two children aged three and four. Superintendent A T White submitted the monthly report. Most sessions ran all day with routine processing of new applications and prior month actions. The home currently holds 200 to 250 people and is expected to reach capacity in time.
