Halloween activities across Frederick County towns
Frederick County communities outline trick-or-treat times with variations across towns. Brunswick allows 6 to 8 p.m., Emmitsburg hosts a 5 to 6 p.m. trick-or-treat plus a 7 p.m. parade and a 9 p.m. to midnight dance, while Frederick itself limits official events but allows neighbor-led trick-or-treating. The Jaycees Haunted House in Frederick runs nightly through Oct. 31 with tiered pricing, plus a 3 p.m. magic show on Saturday. Mount Airy hosts a daytime Halloween parade. New Market plans 6 to 8 p.m. trick-or-treating. Thurmont and Myersville have limited or no planned events, and Woodsboro bans door-to-door trick-or-treating. Safety tips emphasize visibility, flame-resistant costumes, adult supervision, and caution with treats.
