Friar Tuck's Leaving Regretted In Harlem
Friar Tuck known as Father Capistran of Our Lady Queen of Angels Church in Spanish Harlem will depart within a year. The 41 year old Capuchin priest, beloved by Puerto Rican parishioners and local fire fighters, leads parish activities and helps youths with basketball, stickball, trips, and rescue calls. He has aided a neighborhood that faces school debt but remains generous, and his Sherwood Forest persona earns him affection and a lasting plaque from the firehouse friends.
