Three Charged in Rose Hill Manor Robberies
City Police Detective Bureau charges reflect a string of robberies at Rose Hill Manor during July to September. Charles Shearn faces multiple counts of breaking and entering grand and petty larceny. William Cranshaw two counts of receiving stolen goods. Rose Marie Jackson one count of receiving stolen goods. Items recovered include a diamond ring a platinum wedding band a hand drill an electric hand saw a stereo and records and a 22 caliber rifle. Bond set at 4750 for Shearn and 250 for Cranshaw and Jackson. preliminary hearings scheduled November 5. The resinous substance balm of Gilead note appears unrelated.
