Urges Women Enter Politics in Maryland Local Government
Mrs. Stella B. Werner addressed the Montgomery County Council, urging more women to enter local politics. She outlined local government lines from State to County, and stressed informed citizenship and understanding ordinances. AAUW officers and members discussed governance studies and appointed Louise Weagle to the State Nominating Committee.
