Potomac Edison plans expansion with $10 million bond sale
The Potomac Edison Co board approved a plan to sell $10 million in securities to fund expansion through 1950. Issuances include $5.5 million first mortgage bonds, $3 million preferred stock, and $1.5 million common stock. Funds cover a new power plant near Front Royal Va and line extensions Cumberland to Front Royal and Williamsport to Frederick.
