Ernest Wilbur McCardell of Frederick died Saturday at about 10:30 PM after years of illness. Born February 15 1885 in Frederick, he was a son of Adrian D. McCardell and the late Mrs McCardell, a graduate of Doys High School and a former employee with A McCardell wholesale confectioner. He married Helen Cittle on June 13 1913 and lived on Rockwell Terrace. Survived by his widow, his father, and siblings A LeRay McCardell, Edgar S McCardell, Albert N McCardell, Pauline R McCardell, Mrs Raymond R Lon and W S McCardell.
