Trading Post holdup man found guilty in armed robbery
Robert Lee Johnson, 27, of Baltimore, was found guilty of armed robbery in circuit court for the Trading Post holdup. He was ordered returned to Frederick County jail for a pre sentence investigation. Calvin Edward Lee remains at large after escaping from jail three weeks earlier. Clerk Daniel Coran testified they entered the store before 3 p.m. Sept 22, tied him, and stole $119, five handguns and other items. Police caught Johnson and Lee within 15 minutes.
