Dealers Continue ATV Sales To Children Despite Agreement
The U S Public Interest Research Group says 54 percent of dealers would sell large four wheel ATVs for a 10 year old and 73 percent say a child can learn to ride an adult model. The group faults dealers for misleading the public about ATV dangers despite a 1968 agreement by Honda Kawasaki Suzuki Yamaha and Polaris to ban three wheel ATVs for children under 16 and restrict four wheel sales to older youths.
