Hagerstown Mulls Ten Year Tie In With Potomac Edison
A three member committee led by Thomas W. Pangborn advised the Hagerstown Mayor and Council to seek a ten year tie in with Potomac Edison at Williamsport. The plan envisions buying power to meet demand and reselling at current profit margins as the city expands its municipal system toward 15 000 kilowatts. Construction on the 2 400 000 project will follow feasibility and timing. Potential Williamsport output has risen from 50 000 to 85 000 kilowatts
