Frederick County teachers expand education via summer and night classes
Frederick County Superintendent James A Sensenbaugh reported 130 teachers and principals, about 30 percent of staff, took part in summer or night school last year to advance their education. The group included 67 at summer schools, 56 in night sessions, with five attending all three terms. Colleges ranged from University of Maryland to New York University, Hood College, Towson, and other regional schools. Distinct teachers and specific colleges are named, noting broader participation across elementary and high school staff and multiple counties.
