Wreck at Myersville Muddies Fair Traffic Injuries
At Myersville near United Brethren Church, a passenger car No 167 operated by John Watson collided with freight car No 8 during a fair special run between Hagerstown and Frederick. The front of the passenger car was crushed, Watson was pinned between cars but escaped serious injury with only cuts and bruises. Conductor Henry Brooks and other crew aided, no other fatalities reported. Weather and a curve on the track contributed to the crash.
