Funds set for I-70 interchanges in Frederick project
Federal Highway Administration approves about 17 million dollars to start Phase I of the 100 million I-70 widening and interchange project near Frederick Maryland. Phase I will connect I-70 with U S 15 and U S 340 and include three new ramps with bids expected in early 1995 and construction hoped to start next summer.

Burt Lancaster dies at 80 a legendary screen star

He died of a heart attack after suffering a stroke in 1990 his wife Susie said. Maryland Court of Appeals reversed a lower ruling exonerating ex Montgomery County officer Christopher Albrecht in the 1991 shooting of 20 year old Rebecca Garnett in Gaithersburg.
