Frederick teachers spend free time in study at area colleges
A Frederick county survey shows over half of teachers use free time for study. Of 588 staff, 30 attended colleges or workshops during winter evenings or summer days in a year. From Sept 1958 to Sept 1959, 38 colleges and universities in 12 states were visited by Arden teachers led by University of Maryland as the top choice with 40 winter and 48 summer attendances.
