Wife charged after stabbing husband in leg near New Windsor
Bonnie R. Evans, 27, of Oak Orchard Way, was charged with assault and battery, possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure, reckless endangerment, and maim or stab with intent to disable after a domestic dispute in which her husband Daniel P. Evans Jr., 26, was stabbed in the right leg. He received treatment at Frederick Memorial Hospital and was released.

Man pleads guilty to sex offense in Maryland case
A Mount Pleasant man, Lynn Wolf, 57, pleaded guilty in Frederick County Circuit Court to a second degree sexual offense against a Frederick teenager. Sentencing set for Nov. 30 with a plea deal calling for at least a five year prison term. The incident occurred in summer 1989 in Mount Pleasant. victim was 12, now 16. The case surfaced after a 1991 police report and when Wolf returned to the area last year. Fire calls noted in the past 24 hours with multiple locations including Green Valley Road and Potomac Street.
