Adkins Couple Celebrates 50th Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Adkins of Middletown were honored at a reception hosted by their children at the Middletown Fire Hall social room. The Reeder Trio provided music as guests arrived. grandchildren presented carnations and gifts, and a money tree was given. The couple married in 1919 and recently retired from dairy farming, moving to South Jefferson Street. They have 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Wendy Lou Wilson daughter of Rev Gordon Wilson and Ernest Linger son of Mr and Mrs Stephen Linger were married at Calvary United Methodist Church in Frederick with Rev Wilson officiating. Attendants wore aqua and pink gowns. reception followed at the church parish hall. The couple will reside in North Carolina before moving to Charlotte after five months.
