The Chamber of Commerce of Ick County joins with the National Better Business Bureau to warn arthritis sufferers about the so called arthritis bracelet. The device, often copper or alloy, claims pain relief with no medical basis and has drawn attention through television demonstrations.

CCARC Plans November Fund Drive
The Carroll County Association for Retarded Children CCARC held a brainstorming session with Ruth Ann Bair chairing fund raising to support all work for mentally retarded persons in Carroll County. Volunteers include Mrs David Yingling Beverly Mann and Fern Smith with chairmen to be named later. The nonprofit group serves all ages and types of retardation regardless of schooling or residence.
