Sweet potato acreage is being expanded substantially in response to several years of good prices. With average yields, 1969 production will top last year by 10 percent, enough to bring about lower prices.
Suspect Hog Cholera First in Maryland Pigs
Veterinarian Dr. Robert Hammond warns Maryland pig owners to suspect hog cholera when pigs show fever loss of appetite poor coordination purplish skin blotches and eye discharge. Early reporting to a vet is urged. restrict visitors and avoid moving sick pigs between hog lots.

Completion Date Nears For ACP Practices
