Teeth Swallowed Teeth Removed in Baltimore Hospital
In Baltimore on Tuesday night Willam iL Smith of Taneytown swallowed a false tooth plate after leaving one half on a table. Physicians could not remove it, and he was rushed to Frederick City Hospital where a crosswise esophageal position required specialist tools. He was later transferred to Baltimore Mercy Hospital where Dr. Welrman Zinn extracted the teeth after about 16 minutes of manipulation. Grenfell to Speak at Mercersburg Academy Sir Wilfred Grenfell, famed Labrador missionary physician, will address Mercersburg Academy Sunday at 7 PM. He and Lady Grenfell will arrive Saturday and stay with Headmaster and Mrs Boyd Edwards.

Paris, Oct. 20 (AP) Marquis Bo Ge Castelane, long known as an arbiter of elegance and a Paris society figure, died after a week of illness from a paralytic stroke complicated by bronchitis. Former husband of Anna Gould, his marriage linked him to American heiress Jay Gould’s family and high society. He passed peacefully from a coma into unconsciousness shortly before his death.
