Damascus area connector road eyed to ease Md 27 congestion
Maryland State Highway Administration and Montgomery County DOT back Alternate 2 a three lane connector between Md 27 and Lewis Drive in Damascus at a total cost of 447300. The design includes dual left turns and signals with impact on Lewis Drive parking. Construction could begin summer 1987 funded by a federal community block grant.
