Damascus Man Dies After Dental Surgery
A Damascus man died Monday after major dental surgery in Frederick. Horace Leroy Rhoderick, 40%, of Lewis Drive in Damascus, was pronounced dead by acting Frederick County Medical Examiner Dr. Robert S. Hughes. An autopsy is planned in Baltimore. Rhoderick slumped in the recovery room at Dr Gene Camp's Toll House Avenue office after ten lower teeth were removed at a 2 p.m. appointment. he died at 4 p.m. He was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital and then to Baltimore City Morgue. He was survived by his wife Eunice and five children, plus his parents and several siblings. Friends may call at Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home Wednesday with services Thursday.

City moves to force razing of fire damaged dwelling

An 18 year old Carroll County girl Donna Lee Bollinger of Hampstead died when a single car struck guard rails along Md 482 near Westminster just after midnight. Richard Joseph Weaver 16 of Westminster was hospitalized in satisfactory condition. Investigators cited speed and alcohol as probable factors. The crash occurred at 12 25 am and a police probe continues.
