Officials Study Sewer Line Bids
Frederick Citys board of aldermen will consider bids on the Baughmans Lane sewer line at the board meeting Thursday. The project is part of seven in the $500,000 water and sewer bond issue of 1965, with an estimated cost of 15000. It includes 2300 feet of 18 inch interceptor sewer for about 35000 and 2000 feet of eight inch lateral sewer for about 16000. The sewer work precedes reconstruction of Baughmans Lane, one of eight projects in the $1 million general fund bond issue of last year. Road reconstruction is pending while the board weighs a Ro bert J. Rothenhoefer recommendation against federal aid funds, as he believes the city can build the road cheaper with city funds and by straying from federal specifications.

State offers life estate to Mrs Green amid Cunningham Park expansion

Men Leave Wives At Gas Station in Utah
SPANISH FORK Utah UP two Salt Lake City men stopped at a Thistle gas station Tuesday for information and drove off leaving their wives behind. Police officer Howard Zabriskie stopped the men about 13 miles away and confronted them, discovering the misstep.

Soviets Launch Satellite Then Denials Emerge
