Speech Therapist Is Killed In Auto Crash Near Culpeper
A 26 year old speech therapist at the Easter Seal Treatment Center, Anthony E Hansan of North Market Street, was killed instantly Saturday evening in a Virginia 211 crash near Amissville. He suffered a broken neck and died at the scene after his car ran off the road. Hansan, the center’s only speech therapist, had joined January 20. He was a Washburn University graduate and had pursued a master’s in speech therapy. Surviving are his parents. a memorial fund is hoped to be set up.

He was semi conscious on Frederick Avenue and taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital where he regained consciousness in the emergency room. X rays were ordered to assess his injuries. Principal Warren C Smith said Baumgardner was injured while playing volleyball when his head was struck by another student's knee.
