Snow Hits Montana While West Faces Early Winter

The state reports up to two and a half feet of snow in parts of Montana with cold temps. Idaho Wyoming and Utah see snow as the West starts to feel winter. Old Enough To Know Better Judge Says No Excuse For Act

Circuit Court suspended sentence Tuesday for Sandy Schaeffer found guilty of false pretense in passing two fraudulent checks for ten dollars. Judge Arthur D Willard told him he was old enough to know better with no excuse. Kidwiler testified as the sole witness for the prosecution. Schaeffer lacked counsel. Lewis Baumgardner was convicted of non support of his wife and eight children and ordered to pay twelve fifty weekly. Eight children were named Naomi J Fred A Ruth V George T John Grant S Siensiang E and Atlee D. Baumgardner released on five hundred dollars personal recognizance. A fraud charge against Baumgardner tied to a board bill was settled on motion. bill paid. Afton Bennett represented Baumgardner. Petit jury excused until Monday for criminal appeals.

Visitors crash new car into Woodsboro parlor

Mrs Main driving with limited experience steered onto the Libertytown road then pressed the accelerator, driving the car into the Etzler home parlor in Woodsboro. No injuries occurred, but front wall damage estimated at 150 dollars. Mrs Main fined one dollar plus costs for reckless driving.

Appeal Dismissed in State Industrial Accident Case

The Baltimore and Ohio railroad appeal against Frederick Brown on two compensation awards was dismissed and settled in local court. Brown’s cross appeal was also settled. Local attorneys were John S.
