State extends low interest mortgages in Maryland towns
Maryland will offer more than 50 million dollars in below market fixed rate 30 year mortgages to qualified buyers with incomes under 33 thousand. The program starts November 13 in 18 jurisdictions with priority for the lowest income group and first time buyers except in select areas. A first come first served process and separate city and county rules apply with total funds and home price caps listed for each area.
