After under an hour of deliberation on Wednesday jurors found Martin Blessing not guilty of embezzling 778.91 while in charge of Farmers Feed and Supply Co. of Frederick. Testimony showed others accessed the cash. defense notes debt and lack of admission. Embezzlement counts spanned Feb 18 to April 5 across multiple days.
Dorothy V. Cline, 24, of Walkersville, involved in a chain reaction on US 40 after a vehicle stopped for a preceding car. Bennett, 41, of Worthington, rear-ended and pushed into Leonard H. Swain’s car from Hagerstown while James A. Garnson of Chicago halted to turn. Minor damage reported to all vehicles.
