Proceeds benefited Frederick Community Center Heartly House and Frederick Community College with items donated by residents and partners like Frederick Rescue Mission and Faith House.
Susan Secula praises Braddock Heights Volunteer Fire Company for prompt action after her son's car caught fire on their property. She notes 911 dispatch, fast arrival of two firefighters in personal vehicles, followed by a truck with hoses within minutes. Ten volunteers worked nearly an hour. no injuries and minimal damage to surrounding property.

Dr Henry Laughlin led the U S Navy Admiral's Team at the Lander Wyoming One Shot Antelope Hunt. Teammates included Vice Admiral John David Johnson and Admiral Harry Kenneth Fiske with Gen Wayne Shisier as alternate. The group placed first in Links Canyon target and fourth in field events.
