Farm City Day brings country to the city
Frederick County hosts the first annual Farm City Day at the courthouse plaza with farm exhibits, tractor displays, and lunch sales by the Farm Bureau Women's Committee. Speakers note agriculture supports many private jobs and family incomes while vo tech programs highlight landscape and horticulture opportunities. A upcoming Liberty Walk fundraiser for the American Heart Association occurs Friday at the Towne Mall.
