Plans were laid at a Pythian meeting to launch a campaign starting Monday November 16 to recruit 1000 new members for Mountain City Lodge Knights of Pythias IL The drive aims to make the lodge the largest in the United States and Canada with current members around 1200. Speakers included Judge Glenn H Worthington and C Thomas Summers as well as other officers. Supervising regions, captain teams, and progress reports were outlined. A future visit by Supreme Chancellor John Ballantyne and other officials is anticipated. An addition to the Pythian Castle may be built costing about 10000 dollars with a roof garden or club room.
