Prisoner Specht's Appeal Delays Jail Sentence
Judge Worthington kept Specht in $300 bond while appealing a jail sentence after a traffic stop near Yellow Springs. He faced alcohol charges with a half pint found in the sidecar and testified he had but one drink. A longtime farmer, Dennis Shankle, vouched for him, aiding his continued work and arranging a later report date. Shankle stood as bondsman.
