St Joseph Dean Dies Suddenly at Emmitsburg
Sister Mary Ellen Kelley 52, dean of students at St Joseph College in Emmitsburg, died of a heart attack on Tuesday. Born July 29, 1911 in Sioux City she joined the Daughters of Charity in 1935 and taught at several schools before becoming dean in 1955. She is survived by a brother and a sister. Requiem masses are set for Friday with campus burial. a college play is canceled.
