Parade traffic plan for Frederick Jaycees Fall Festival

Campers plan mini city at Frederick Fairgrounds this weekend
The Maryland Chapter of the National Campers and Hikers Association hosts the 1975 Fair Campout at the Frederick Fairgrounds. Over 200 families and about 30 chapters will form a tent city with a Midway of crafts for sale and a Saturday Chapter of the Year award. Frederick County’s Scott Key Campers coordinate activities including an outdoor Catholic Mass and a pot luck dinner for teens after a Saturday supper.

FCC faces first operating deficit in 1967 75
Frederick Community College reported a fiscal 1975 operating deficit, possibly around 34 000, blamed on higher electricity and fuel costs along with low state aid and overruns in telephone expenses. President Lewis W. Stephens said the final figure will come with the annual audit next month.
