Brandenburg Family Reunion Draws Large Attendance
About 80 members of the Brandenburg family gathered for a reunion. Officers included Lynwood Browning as president Erika Browning as vice president and chairwoman Betty Lou Brandenburg Dell as secretary treasurer and Dolly Brandenburg Wes as publicity chairwoman. The event featured prizes for oldest woman Lucy Swartzbaugh and oldest man Russell Watkins, a long-distance award for Lloyd Brandenburg, and music by the Browningsville Band. The program noted outreach to past Brandenburgs with travel to Mozambique and Africa and referenced a booklet by Elmer Nilork Jr. on ancestral lines.
