Apollo 7 Crew Reports Clean Spacecraft Debris Free
In a Houston briefing Apollo 7 crew observed minimal debris aboard the spacecraft after launch. Command pilot Walter M. Schirra Jr used the medical kit for a stuffy nose and took aspirin and decongestants as part of routine early flight care. An 60 to 90 second power outage in mission control caused brief concern but did not affect telemetry or computer data streams.
