Fair balance in earnings and costs argued by AAS official
Washington October 13 An AAS spokesman said a fair balance exists between factory workers earnings, food prices and non food living costs. L H Bean economic adviser to the farm administration argued that retail food prices have declined and rose with workers earnings. He said the real problem is providing permanent employment and sufficient earnings for the unemployed to restore living standards. He added the imbalance is not on agriculture but requires higher non agricultural production by 40 to 50 percent to restore jobs.
